VERSE 9® is a Black-founded, owned and operated business that was founded in 1999 by Maurizio Wade, a Baltimore born and bread man who has a deep passion for men's fashion. VERSE 9 prides itself in innovative and frequent collections in neckwear, dress shirts, dress socks, casual wear and more that push the boundaries in men's clothing + accessories.
Our brand is named after 1 Corinthians 2:9 "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." This is truly the testimony of our company as Maurizio started his company with $200 selling neckties from the trunk of his car after not being able to pay rent--he started a business and the rest was history.
VERSE 9 is dedicated to promoting self-image and individual style. Our neckties are the crossroad of rich colors, intricate prints, quality fabrics and stylish innovations.
We've been doing this fashion thing for a while...
It all started with Maurizio's first bridal store in Baltimore which operated throughout the 90's to provide tuxedo and wedding gown services. After running the bridal shop, Maurizio decided he wanted to design his own men's clothing and that's when VERSE 9 was born.
Now, we operate out of Florida and have our products in over 300 stores nationwide.
Every quarter we release new collections of 200+ new products, designs and colors unique to our brand label. VERSE 9 ties are one-of-a-kind and will catch the eyes of those around you due to their bright color pigmentation and intricate print designs. Our artistic approach to neckwear puts a twist on traditional formal wear conventions.
Our 20+ year relationships with manufacturers in Europe and Asia allow us to use the highest quality of custom fabrics without having a high price for our customers. We pride ourself in our 100% silk woven ties, bow ties and ascots. Our ties are 7-Fold, meaning the fabric is both on the inside and outside, adding weight and dimension to our products.
We fulfill our orders in 1-2 business days and most orders in the US are received within 1-3 business days after fulfillment.

We are a family owned and operated business which means we are involved in every step from design + manufacturing, shipping, customer service and everything in-between.
Annually we hit the road and travel nationwide to conventions for professional, faith-based and NPHC affiliated organizations.
